if you clicked on this, i am praying for you so hard. i praying you will seek Jesus and use His Word to provide peace and comfort during these feelings.

i get it, i know the feelings. i have dealt with anxiety since i was 8. i repeat, 8. i got on medication at that age, which means i didn’t know really anything but anxiety medication. but only by the grace of God, i am finally coming off of it. 12 years later, i’m doing it. so i get the feelings, i get the panic attacks, the sweat, the heart racing, the tears, the confusion, the depression. i know how it feels, but i also know how it feels to have God as my medication now. here a couple verses to encourage you, to read to yourself, to put on your mirror, to put on sticky notes, to help you remember, there is nothing too big for our God.

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.  I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” ~ Isaiah 24:10

“Peace is what I leave with you; it is my own peace that I give you. I do not give it as the world does. Do not be worried and upset; do not be afraid.” ~ John 14:27

“Answer me quickly, O Lord! My spirit fails! Hide not your face from me, lest I be like those who go down to the pit. Let me hear in the morning of Your steadfast love, for in You I trust. Make me know the way I should go, for to You I lift up my soul”. ~ Psalm 143:7-8

Friends, anxiety and depression will make its way in your life in the most secretive way. I am not sitting here telling you that you will never face anxiety if you have a faith in Jesus. But what I am telling you, is that you can overcome and pursue through this depression + feelings of anxiety. He is THE peacemaker.
